Tomi Panula – Don’t look at me, please

What if the paintings in exhibitions don’t want to be looked at all the time? What if they can’t be themselves when people are looking at them? My artwork is about a very famous painting who just have had to smile the same way for hundreds of years because people are looking at it. I used OpenCV face detection algorithm to detect when the people are looking at the painting and when they aren’t. Then the painting acts accordingly. You can see the artwork here: https://dont-look-at-me-please.web.app/. Please allow the website to use your web camera.
